Today Moli was on the potty when I came in, she didn't look too happy. It hurts me to see her look like that. We had a nice visit but today she seemed a little more quiet than usual. I'm not a novelty anymore I guess but that's ok because I did get some smiles from her.
She is definetly very active and is interested in all things and I just love to watch her play. I got the medical information on her today and the way they describe her is: active, quiet, affectionate, interacts well with other children and enjoys adults company. In other words, she's a peach!
Today was my first moment feeling so proud of her. She let go of the rail she was holding onto and just started walking to me trying to get in as many steps as she can before she falls, with her arms stretched out and the biggest smile on her face like she was so happy with herself! She put her arms around my neck and I had the best feeling at that moment. I will never forget it. It was only a few steps but it was so exciting. I feel like it was my initiation into parenthood and it was really great!
Today I noticed that everytime I was about to take a picture of her laughing she would stop. Everytime she did something cute and I held up the camera she would stop. Me and Ainura joked that she knew and did the opposite. I had the blanket out with some toys and she was not interested in them at all. As soon as I start putting them back into the backpack she needed to be inside the backpack taking them all out. The book she was not interested in was suddenly so interesting, the ball suddenly was the best thing around. It was so funny! She really really wanted those toys out of the bag. The whole time they were on the floor she could care less. You know what that means............she is Little Miss Contrary. I knew a Mr. Contrary once but he has grown up now and is a very nice young man. She was so funny and I really got a laugh out of it.
After the visit, Ainura took me shopping for a gift for her birthday on Thursday and we had lunch at the Oasis. It was pretty good. One thing about the restaurants here is their service is very different. We just choose our seat and all the meals come out at different times. Sometimes 15 minutes later than the first meal. I bought Moli a gold chain with a sun charm. It's something she can always wear. Not babyish but small enough that it won't look like too much jewelry on her. I think it fits her personality too. She is always so happy she is like the sunshine!
One thing about Kaz that I couldn't believe is they have Foodtown and Shop Rite brands. I was really surprised to see them here. I thought they were local to New Jersey.
Sweetest Moli you made today very special for me just by taking those few steps on your own and looking so happy with yourself. You filled my heart today. You are my sunshine. Tee my-o sole-neeshka.

Ok, I finally remembered my account number and password. I can't believe I remembered. She is so incredibly cute, I want to eat her. I LOVE that picture of her laughing in the air. I like your apartment too. It looks really nice. I love the awesome souveniers you've bought, they are really neat. I left you a lengthy email, sorry. Love you, Ro
